Your contribution to CFH will be used to help run our Day Center, our Year-Round Shelter, and our seasonal Eastside Winter Shelter, as well as to support clients in our housing program. All donations are tax-deductible. 

CFH also happily accepts many donations of goods and services (time, talent, & treasure).

We are a fully Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity, a comprehensive set of best practices for how charities that go beyond the requirements of state and federal regulations in critical areas of operations: governance; measuring effectiveness; financial management; and fundraising and communications.





Buys a pair of work boots or dress shoes for a job interview
Provides two haircuts
Gives 10 people a warm pair of socks or gloves for the Winter months



Buys a drivers license or WA I.D. needed for employment
Pays for bedding and towels for a man moving into housing
Purchases a backpack and school supplies for a person attending college courses or vocational training



Furnishes a man’s apartment through one of our partner organizations
Allows 6 men to complete a Rent Ready/Financial Literacy Class
Buys 8 sleeping bags for the men in our shelters



Purchases a metro bus pass for a year for a disabled person
Buys a complete set of dentures for a person



Funds the dental van for a month for 14 people, which includes dental work and preventative care



Provides 25 hours of Case Management at the Day Center
Keeps the Eastside Winter Shelter open for a night, serving 80 men



Feeds 240 people a warm meal
Keeps the Eastside Winter Shelter open for two nights, serving 160 men
Pays the deposit for a person’s apartment

CFH is always in need of various items for our clients, which can be dropped off at our main office location.

Paper products and cleaning supplies including but not limited to: paper plates, paper cups, napkins, plastic cutlery, bleach, Lysol wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, dish and hand soap

CFH reserves the right to turn away all other donations due to lack of storage space.
